This pot helm is based on the famous find from Bolzano (circa 1300) and combines historical aesthetics with modern wearing comfort. What makes this model special: Despite its focus on LARP and SCA, it is equipped internally with high-quality professional padding, which is normally used in modern full-contact tournament helmets.
• Maximum cushioning: The thick textile padding ensures a perfect fit and absorbs impacts much better than conventional standard liners.
• Material: 2 mm mild steel (untempered) – robust for staged performances and light combat.
Morgenstern Forge verdict: Ideal for SCA, LARP, reenactment, and tournaments with moderate impact. Due to the untempered steel, this helmet is NOT suitable for Buhurt/HMB (full-contact with steel weapons).
